How do I book an Octo?

Head to octomobility.com and use our “book now” feature. You can sign up for an account with Octo or book a trip right away. A mobile app is in development and coming soon!

Where can I go in an Octo?

Currently Octo operates in New York City, and is available to go anywhere in the region including all major airports as well as cities such as Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington, D.C.

How much does Octo cost?

The cost of booking vehicles through Octo depends on the type of vehicle, the length of your reservation and the nature of your trip.  Our flagship vehicle, the Octo One, is based upon a baseline cost of $175/hr.

How many people can fit in an Octo?

Each one of our vehicles has a specific seating capacity.  Please visit our Fleet page to review the details of all of our vehicles.  

Octo One, our first customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, can comfortably sit four passengers. All seats are adjustable leather captain chairs.

Is Octo available in my area?

Octo is currently available in New York City. Contact our team to request an Octo in another city.

What are Octo’s safety policies?

At Octo, we pride ourselves on our attention to safety. Our drivers are fully licensed and extensively trained. Our policy specifically prohibits the “aggressive” style driving used by many transportation service providers, both to ensure the physical safety of our passengers and to provide the most comfortable and productive experience possible.

Is an Octo secure?

In addition to tinted windows and a team committed to confidentiality, Octo utilizes secure wi-fi in our mobile workspace and an extremely reliable vendor to process online payments.

How are Octo drivers trained?

All Octo drivers have TLC licenses (Taxi Limousine Commission) or a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License), and undergo additional training focusing on defensive driving, customer service and confidential business practices.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule my Octo?

For most Octo trips, a deposit of 50% of the total payment is required at the time of booking, with the rest due upon completion. In case of a cancellation, this deposit is non-refundable. If you’ve paid your deposit and need to reschedule, please contact Octo to speak with a representative and see if an arrangement can be made.

Can I hold a meeting in an Octo?

You can hold face-to-face meetings in an Octo, as well as secure video conferences utilizing our built-in technology.

Can I pick up additional passengers in my Octo?

Our flagship customized Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, Octo One, can seat four passengers. In order to provide the best experience, we ask that you provide us with the names of all passengers at the time of booking, though additional passengers are certainly permitted.
